Occupying the intersection of social behavioral research + UX research + data science

I’m an academically trained quantitative social scientist who found her home in UX research after a brief stint as a data scientist. After more than 10 years of collecting and translating attitudinal and behavioral data, I am still excited to improve someone’s life one experience at a time through the results of good data and research.

My research philosophy is very simple: garbage in, garbage out.

My professional goal is to get rid of garbage in product and experience design by bringing good research, data collection, and analysis practices to folks who aren’t trained in research. I like to work hand-in-hand with designers, developers, and product managers who want to answer the hard questions but don’t know how to given their time, money, and resource constraints.

I specialize in crafting meaningful and scalable research projects and systems to serve products, projects, and populations, as well a mentoring and teaching junior researchers, team members, and partners.

Currently working to improve the legal experience for all as a Senior Design Researcher at Clio.
